CCPD board approves minutes, accepts board member resignation

The Crime Control and Prevention District board approved its quarterly meeting minutes and accepted a board member’s resignation during its regular meeting.

At the opening of the meeting the presiding member presented a consent agenda that included approval of the CCPD quarterly meeting minutes of Oct. 27, 2025, and acceptance of Michael Gutzman’s resignation. The board enacted the consent agenda by a single motion; the record notes that “Mister Danielson Mcdonaldson made the motion” and the presiding member called the voice vote and stated the motion carried.

The items were presented as routine and there was no separate discussion requested before the vote. The board then proceeded to the scheduled agenda items.

The meeting record does not show any objections or recorded no votes on the consent motion. The board moved on to officer elections and candidate appointments later in the meeting.
