At the Feb. 23 meeting, Planning Director Britney Hamm presented the consent agenda and summarized staff recommendations for several conditional use reviews and one telecommunications permit. Staff recommended approval for a multi‑family dwelling application by NDN Holdings (CUR1435), approval for a vacation home rental review for Fred and Michelle Prien (CUR1748), continuation of Sunquest LLC's vacation home rental review (CUR2002) to allow the applicant time to obtain an operating license, and termination of the vacation home rental review for Limestone Creek Ranch LLC (CUR2165) because the property is no longer used as a rental. Staff also recommended approval of a telecommunications facility permit (COTCR2040001) for ComNet (doing business as Verizon Wireless).
Hamm explained that any item may be pulled from the consent agenda for separate consideration and that the commission's findings are recommendations to the Pennington County Board of Commissioners. The commission approved the consent agenda by voice vote without items being pulled.
Several items were explicitly continued or ended per staff recommendation: one Sunquest LLC review was continued to the March 23 planning commission meeting to allow the applicant time to obtain an operating license; Limestone Creek Ranch LLC's review was ended with the applicant's concurrence because the property is no longer used as a vacation rental.
The consent agenda approval will be forwarded as the commission's recommendation to the Board of Commissioners for final action.
