Staff asks council to place Marcus Bowen appointment on next regular meeting agenda

Staff recommended appointing Marcus Bowen to the Street Improvement Oversight Committee and asked councilors for direction to add a resolution to the next regular meeting agenda to effect the appointment.

The study session included a brief staff request rather than a formal nomination or vote. No council vote or formal appointment occurred during the Nov. 24 meeting; staff said they would add the resolution to the next regular meeting's agenda if directed.

"A recommendation has been made to appoint Marcus Bowen to the street improvement oversight committee. Staff request direction to add a resolution to the next regular meeting appointing this individual to that board," staff said.

The item will return for formal consideration at the next regular meeting if the council gives staff direction to place it on the agenda.
