Community and Economic Development staff told commissioners the amendments respond to recent projects where split zoning or unclear map language made it difficult to determine proper procedures. The draft also removes references to the design review board consistent with changes to Title 2. Staff said workshop-requested administrative clarifications — including more concise language in section 20.20.020 — were incorporated.
Vice Chair Gail Roeber moved that the Commission recommend City Council approve AMC Chapter 20.2 (PJ 20-539); a second was given and the motion passed by voice vote. The Chair closed the public hearing.
The recommendation advances the draft to City Council for final consideration.
