Planning Commission approves multiple site plans, plats and subdivisions; Assurant site plan passes 6–1

The Wilson County Planning Commission on Feb. 20 approved multiple site plans, plats and subdivisions and took record votes on several matters brought forward by planning staff.

Among the roll‑call items: the Assurant tenant improvement site plan at 255 Aldi Boulevard (Map 138 Parcel 3705) was approved 6–1, with Commissioner Renfro recorded as the lone no vote; commissioners discussed whether on‑site repairs would involve fluids and noted the fire marshal reviewed the plans with no substantial containment comments. A site plan to install a permanent digital sign for Starstruck Farm at 10471 Highway 109 North was approved after the applicant (Rolling Digital Media) confirmed the sign meets code and will dim at night.
