Committee sends placeholder workforce development bill to JFS for study by Board of Regents

The committee voted to refer SB 106, a bill described in committee as largely a placeholder, to JFS. Chair Senator Derek Slapp said the bill includes a study to be conducted by the Board of Regents. The committee took no amendments and advanced the placeholder to JFS for further consideration.
