Commissioners list personnel appointments and grant authorizations on Feb. 19 agenda

Commissioner Christian Linebach presented a set of human resources and grant items on the Feb. 19 agenda.

HR items listed for authorization included the appointment of Leo Scott as assistant director of planning in the Planning Commission; Adam Kenderdine as judicial coordinator in Court Administration; and Joshua Pluck as supervisor of shelter care at the Berks County Youth Shelter.

Under commissioners’ items, Linebach described a resolution authorizing the chair to execute the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services application and civil rights compliance form as part of the 2026 renewal application for the Berks County Youth Center. He also described a resolution authorizing the chair to execute Amendment No. 5 to a grama agreement for the Employment Advancement and Retention Network (EARN) to extend the agreement for one year effective 07/01/2026 through 06/30/2027 and to authorize the Chief Operations Officer to execute necessary documents to obtain the requested grant. In addition, he described the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) Forensic Interviewer Grant for the District Attorney’s Office for the period 07/01/2026 through 06/30/2028.
