The Oklahoma House adopted House Resolution 1032 on the floor, proclaiming Feb. 17, 2026, as Oklahoma Aggregates Day at the Capitol to recognize the industry's economic importance.
Representative Bowles presented the resolution, saying it "proclaim[s] 02/17/2026 as the Oklahoma Aggregates Day at the Capitol, celebrating the industry's economic impact and recognizing the importance of aggregates for local infrastructure." Bowles asked for a motion to adopt the resolution and it was approved without objection.
Bowles also asked members to welcome industry representatives and a leadership class present in the South Gallery. "Today in honor of the, at the Capitol, in the South Gallery, we have the aggregates in Oklahoma," Bowles said, later noting an "Oklahoma Corporates Commission leadership class number 3" present in the gallery.
The resolution is ceremonial and recognizes the sector’s role in supporting local infrastructure projects. The House proceeded with other scheduled business after the adoption and later adjourned for the day.
