District 191 advances code of ethics policy to first reading after inclusive-language edits

Director Mickelson called the Burnsville Public School District, District 191, Policy Review Committee to order on Feb. 17 and asked Dr. Latanya Daniels to present proposed edits to Policy 209, the district’s code of ethics.

Dr. Daniels said the recommended updates are limited and largely editorial: “We’ve made a few, minor updates to formatting, making sure we are using inclusive language in describing our, board directors,” she said.
