Regents' health services committee approves Nov. 18 minutes in unanimous roll call

The University of California Health Services Committee opened its Jan. 26 meeting and approved the minutes from Nov. 18, 2025, following a motion and a roll call vote. Multiple regents were named and recorded as voting "aye," and the minutes were approved by the committee.

After the procedural vote, the committee moved to a public comment period with 17 registered speakers, who addressed topics ranging from resident physician bargaining to endowment investments and campus accessibility. The chair and chief of staff reviewed the public-comment procedures and said each speaker would have one minute to address the regents in person or by phone.

The committee adjourned the open session and reconvened in closed session for about an hour. No additional formal actions were recorded in the open session aside from the minutes approval.
