Sheriff Gary Hoffman of Queen Anne's County urged residents to help locate people on his office's "Valentine's Day Most Wanted" list and described ways to submit anonymous tips.
"This Valentine's Day, remember to share the love. And if you know where these folks are, share that too," Hoffman said in the public message announcing the list and asking for community assistance. The release included a short dramatized exchange meant to illustrate how deputies serve warrants at a residence.
The sheriff's office named eight people in the segment and provided last known addresses and charges as read by Hoffman. The list includes:
- Thomas "Tommy" Johnson, 36, last known on Fallen Horse Circle in Queenstown, listed on counts including first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and several probation violations including burglary-related counts.
- A 19-year-old identified as Ryan, last known on Melvin Avenue in Greysonville, wanted for probation violations including possession of a rifle/shotgun by a disqualified person and second-degree assault.
- Aaron Ozcan, 46, last known on Brownsville Road in Centerville, wanted for failure to appear on a second-degree assault charge.
- James Hampton, 38, last known on Roberts Station Road in Church Hill, listed for a probation violation for failing to obey a lawful order and a DUI per se among the charges read.
- Shaquan ("Shay") Sampson, 33, last known on Fallen War Circle in Queenstown, wanted for failure to appear in connection with a theft scheme and related theft charges.
- James Hubbard, 57, last known on Pontiac Avenue in Brooklyn, wanted for probation violations including burglary and failure to obey a lawful order.
- Rontae (Ronte) Robinson, 34, last known on Mecca Court in Fort Washington, wanted for failure to appear on a theft charge in the $1,500–$25,000 range.
- Shannon Cornball, 42, last known on Duhamel Corner Road in Sullersville, wanted for violation of probation for reckless endangerment.
The segment included a dramatized doorway interaction in which an officer tells the person being served, "So we are gonna place you under arrest," to illustrate the moment a warrant can lead to custody. That exchange was presented as part of the sheriff's office message and not as documentation of a specific arrest.
Hoffman emphasized common reasons warrants are outstanding, saying missed court dates or unpaid obligations such as child support can result in warrants. He encouraged anyone who recognizes a person on the list to submit tips anonymously.
The sheriff's office gave multiple ways to report information: through the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's app, Facebook Messenger to the sheriff's office, by email at sheriff-info@qac.org, or by calling the anonymous tip line at (410) 758-6666. Hoffman also offered a local-restaurant gift card as an incentive for tipsters whose information leads to custody and said people who personally surrender and complete paperwork may receive a gift card for two.
The announcement closed with a reassurance about confidentiality: "All the tips that you turn in are always just between you and me," Hoffman said.
The sheriff's release is a public-safety appeal asking residents to help locate individuals wanted on various charges; the listed allegations are as read by the sheriff during the announcement. The sheriff's office did not provide further case details, court dates, or clarifying documents in the message; anyone seeking additional information should contact the sheriff's office directly using the channels provided.
