The Springettsbury Township Board of Supervisors took several formal actions during its meeting.
Resolution 2024-38: Supervisor (Speaker 3) moved to adopt a resolution approving the township's Act 537 plan special study; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. The measure authorizes the special study required under Act 537 for wastewater planning.

Transport planning grant: The manager announced the township obtained a $141,000 federal design grant to support transportation planning and safer-streets project design; staff said there are no agreements yet to present to the board.
Board of Auditors vacancy and appointment: The board discussed the vacancy on the three-member Board of Auditors after the death of John Norris (April 20). After discussing options including retaining an outside CPA and the statutory role of the vacancy chair, the board moved to appoint Mr. Stayer to fill the remainder of the term; the motion carried by voice vote.
