Council fills multiple advisory seats, approves slates for planning and zoning boards

Deputy City Manager Scott Davidoff presented an appointments sheet listing vacancies, reappointment requests and alternates. Council nominated and approved candidates across several boards: Jeff Perry was appointed to the CRA, Meghan Marshall and Philip Lantree were moved into Planning Commission voting seats with Russell Alexander reappointed, and a slate of Board of Adjustment appointments (Julian Callegritis, Jennifer Maza, Courtney Fetzer and alternate Jose Ortiz) was confirmed. Several alternate and reappointment motions were approved by voice and roll call, and the planning slate carried on an overall unanimous vote for the items recorded.

Council flagged a procedural preference to consider alternates who have served and remained engaged when filling vacancies. Staff and council agreed to call the role on each slate and to record roll‑call votes for appointment approvals.

Next steps: newly appointed members will be notified and scheduled to serve; staff will update committee rosters and post vacancies as needed.
