Brett Thany of True Land, representing Jones Company, told the Williamson County Regional Planning Commission that work on the Terro (Terre) Ferrell Road drainage and erosion control project is progressing but not finished. "Phase 2, the slope repairs are essentially 80% of it's done," Thany said, adding that fabric, drains and stone have been installed and that the engineer returned phase‑1 comments the same day.
Commission staff and members pressed for more detail on outstanding items, including unfinished headwalls, an additional road repair, and a homeowner yard repair the developer agreed to fix during dirt work. Staff said the county has requested additional core samples for the phase‑2 road and has contracted a geotechnical engineer to perform them before work can be finalized.
One commissioner warned the county will withhold the maintenance bond while deficiencies remain and said if the work is not corrected by summer the county may move to "calling the bond." The commissioner characterized deviations from plan documents as "significant deviations" and noted persistent ponding and unfinished stabilization work.
The exchange concluded with staff and the developer agreeing to review geotechnical results and engineer as‑built shots to determine next steps; no formal motion or vote on enforcement was recorded at the meeting.
