Council places multiple communications on file, holds several land-sale requests in abeyance

Butte, Mont. — During its Feb. 11 Committee of the Whole meeting the Butte-Silver Bow Council of Commissioners took a series of routine actions on communications and land-sale requests.

Several communications were placed on file after motions by Commissioner Shea and recorded clerk votes showing 10 yays and 0 nays. Items placed on file included communications related to opioid abatement budgeting, harm-reduction surveys, public-health contracts and the drought-management-plan presentation (communications 2026-46, 2026-47, 2026-48, 2026-49, 2026-50, 2026-51 and 2026-62 among others). The clerk recorded "10 yays, 0 nay" for each motion as the council moved these items to file.

The council also held several land-sale communications in abeyance pending a report back from the land-sales committee, including communication 202551 and related Solomonson purchase requests for property adjacent to 17 Tullamore Street, and a request from Bill Kelly (Parcel 0001904920) pending further committee review.
