The Michigan City Water Works Board approved the minutes from its Jan. 27, 2026 meeting and passed a package of routine spending items during its Feb. 10 meeting.
At the start of the meeting the board moved to adopt the Jan. 27 minutes. A member moved to approve the minutes and another seconded; a roll-call voice vote recorded Davis Bush, Beth Pichard, Carla Locke, Ken Baron and Diane Gonzales as approving, and the motion carried.
Staff presented five purchase orders for board approval: equipment rental from McCann for the Tryon Road main extension (Tryon Meadows phase one), $21,056.96; Atlas for Bobcat repairs, $1,262.24; Trout Glass & Mirror for glass replacement, $1,030; Morrison for forklift repairs, $3,204.27; and Dorner for a Kinetrol coupler, $869. A motion to approve the list of purchase orders was made, seconded and approved by the same roll-call procedure with no negatives recorded.
The board then approved the list of claims dated Feb. 10, 2026 after a motion and second; that vote also passed with all members indicating approval.
The board did not record any public comment on these consent items. The meeting proceeded to new business following the approvals.
