Commissioners recognize Carrie Gray as employee of the month

The board recognized Carrie Gray, county administrator and chief clerk, as the county’s employee of the month. Commissioners and colleagues read nominations and offered personal remarks about Gray’s leadership, responsiveness and long service; Gray accepted the honor and acknowledged the work of the county team.

The STAR Committee identified 21 nominations with multiple submissions for Gray. Commissioners posed brief remarks of appreciation and attendees took photographs to mark the recognition.
