Civil Service Trustees approve minutes and multiple personnel eligible lists

The Board of Civil Service Trustees met Feb. 11, 2026, in Las Vegas and approved a series of routine personnel actions, including the Jan. 28 meeting minutes, certification and extensions of eligible hiring lists for multiple classifications, certification of a fire administrative classification, and the abolishment of the eligible list for court clerk. Item 8: Abolishment of court clerk eligible list — Member Heche moved to abolish the eligible list for court clerk; the board approved the motion on a voice vote.

Public comment and adjournment — The board opened a citizens' participation period, noted speakers must limit comments to matters within the board's jurisdiction and that items not on the agenda cannot be acted on, and recorded no public comments. The meeting was adjourned.
