Council approves minutes, hears routine reports and schedules upcoming meetings

At the start of the Feb. 11 meeting the council approved minutes from the Jan. 27 work and policy meetings after a motion and second.

No members of the public signed up to speak during the open comment period. Council reports included a summary from a council member who attended an America 250 lecture series at Weber State and encouragement to participate in a parent‑voice survey being distributed in March. Staff reported there are no meetings next week but scheduled a work session and policy meeting for the following week and a March 3 work session. The mayor reminded council members of Presidents' Day observance and closures.

The council adjourned at the conclusion of routine business; no additional formal actions were recorded beyond the reappointment vote earlier in the meeting.
