The Salisbury City Council voted to approve a slate of appointments and reappointments Feb. 9. Resolutions approved include:
- Resolution 3448: Reappointment of Susan Carey to the election board (term ending February 2032).
- Resolution 3449: Appointment of Brooke Orr to the Sustainability Advisory Committee (term ending February 2029).
- Resolution 3450: Appointment of Rosa Rivera to the Sustainability Advisory Committee (term ending February 2029).
- Resolution 3451: Reappointment of Christina Williams to the Sustainability Advisory Committee (term ending February 2029).
- Resolution 3452: Appointment of Rochelle Mitchell to the Human Rights Advisory Committee (term ending February 2028).
- Resolution 3453: Appointment of Maria Summer to the Human Rights Advisory Committee (term ending February 2028).
- Resolution 3454: Appointment of Louis Da Silva to the Salisbury Historic District Commission (term ending February 2029).
Each resolution was presented by a council member and approved by voice vote. Council President asked committee members to stand for recognition and thanked them for their service. Maria Summer addressed the council during the public-comment period and thanked members for the opportunity to serve on the Human Rights Commission.
The appointments will be processed by the city clerk and the appointees’ terms recorded in committee rosters.
