Committee sends managed Medicaid rate-floor extension to oversight after sponsor amendment intent

Chairman Simpson described House Bill 3650 as a request from the hospital association to extend the existing rate floor on managed Medicaid. He said the bill initially showed an extension to 2035 but that he intended to amend it before further action to set the year to 2028.

There was no extended debate. The committee recorded a vote (5-0) and sent the bill to the oversight committee for additional consideration.
