Board approves waiver for Heron's Nest annexation impact report filing; Town of Silt to provide services

Representatives from the Town of Silt and the project applicant presented the Heron's Nest annexation and associated annexation impact report for property at 32958 Riverfront Road near Silt. County planning staff (Glenn Hartman) said the town's report addressed statutory requirements, floodplain and wetlands considerations, and service provision; he recommended granting a waiver from the county filing requirement so the town process can remain on schedule.

Town planner Nicole Santino and applicant representative Davis confirmed the report and service coordination with special districts and said the town will provide water, sewer and police protection. Staff recommended drafting a resolution to formalize the waiver and include conditions listed in the staff memo.

The board moved to put the waiver resolution on the next consent agenda and voted in favor.
