At its Feb. 9 meeting the Troy Board of Park Commissioners authorized staff to request proposals for a new golf tee sign agreement for an initial three-year term with up to three additional one-year options, and approved the 2026 special-events list that staff presented.
Mr. Griese told the board he had met with Golf Graphics, which currently supplies tee signs, course maps and other facility signage and performs sign repairs. He said staff seeks to either extend the current arrangement or rebid the project to ensure signage and repair services continue. "They do the tee signs and the signs around the facility," Griese said.
The chair moved to authorize the RFP; the board seconded the motion and approved it by voice vote. Later in the meeting Ms. Knight reviewed the special-events list for the coming year, noting some events may be relocated off park property because of the pending streetscape project; the board voted to approve the list to avoid returning to the board event by event.
What the board decided: Motions to authorize an RFP for tee signs and to approve the special-events list for 2026 were both approved by voice vote.
Next steps: Staff will prepare and issue the RFP for golf tee signage and will coordinate with event organizers on logistics and any relocations required by the streetscape project.
