Study session: council confirms multiple items, holds two items and adjourns

The Syracuse City Council opened a study session, heard multiple councilors announce readiness of agenda items across the docket and made several procedural clarifications and holds.

Councilor Monto noted that Councilor Majoke's items 11 through 26 were ready. Several councilors confirmed items 27'30 and later items 33 through 38 were ready. A Schedule A change for items 33 and 34 (related to bond counsel review) was distributed to council members, and staff clarified a contract in item 40 will use an existing budget line with no new cash and an updated expiration date.

Councilor Lamonto announced items 51 and 52 would be held for additional financial questions. With the agenda concluded, Council President led a motion to adjourn that was moved and seconded; the session was closed.

Several procedural notes arose during the meeting, including references to schedule updates and that some items may be held or withdrawn depending on subsequent staff follow-up.
