The Pewaukee School District board took several formal actions at its Feb. 9 meeting.
Votes at a glance
- Adopt agenda: Motion to adopt the meeting agenda passed with one opposition recorded during the vote (motion introduced at call for agenda adoption).

- Business affairs report: Board accepted the business affairs committee report covering property tax receipts, budget process and capital projects progress.
- Woodland Conference shared services contract (annual): Motion to approve the conference agreement and budget passed (one opposition recorded).
- Field trip: Board approved a proposed middle‑school trip to Rome and Sorrento in spring break 2028 organized through Education First; one board member abstained from the vote after discussion and a student speaker presented in support.
- Paul Road Properties LLC lease: Board voted to provide written notice to terminate the Paul Road Properties LLC lease (six‑month notice) to relocate the Insight program on campus; one abstention recorded.
- Personnel: Board approved three retirements as presented and approved hiring Caitlin Glassy as a third‑grade intern at Horizon Elementary.
Several motions were moved, seconded and recorded during the meeting; individual roll‑call vote names were not read aloud for each motion in the public record. Administration and board leaders said they will follow up with staff reports and implementation plans as required by each action.
The board also received the student board report, budget and capital projects update and a legislative/WASB convention recap.
