Commission approves routine budget transfers, payroll adjustments and administrative items

During its session, Sumner County commissioners approved a series of routine administrative and budgetary items, including payroll transfers, account object-code changes, equipment purchases, tax refunds, relocation funding for election circuits, and an annual unclaimed property resolution.

Notable routine actions: commissioners approved converting a Recovery Court full-time position into two part-time positions and reallocating related salary/benefit lines to testing supplies; they approved an assessor office request to consolidate full-time staff pay into an "assessment personnel" object code; they authorized $3,950 from the general fund to relocate election circuits; and they adopted the annual resolution to claim about $1,347 in unclaimed property from the state. Motions on these items carried without recorded opposition.

Commissioners also set tentative budget framing dates (week of March 25 through April 1, with meetings starting at 9:00 a.m.) and asked staff to provide revenue estimates prior to the scheduled hearings. The meeting ended after the commission approved a motion to adjourn.
