House reads dozens of introductory bills and bond initiatives, refers them to committees; adjourns until Feb. 10

The Maryland House of Delegates used its Feb. 6 evening session to process introductory legislation and committee referrals before adjourning.

On the consent calendar the Clerk read multiple introductory house bills on first reading (examples announced on the floor included House bills 1019–1049 and 1050–1067); the Majority Leader moved to consider the readings, and the Speaker noted 'no objection,' meaning the bills were read the first time and referred to the appropriate committees.
