Tempe council approves consent agenda, lease and several ordinances in unanimous votes

The Tempe City Council voted unanimously on multiple items during the latter portion of the meeting:

- Consent agenda (minutes, boards/commissions items): approved 7–0 (see meeting consent vote).
- Item 8A1: Council approved an amended and restated lease and management agreement with Tempe Golf LLC for the management of Ken McDonald Golf Course (moved by Councilmember Keating; seconded by Councilmember Hodge). Vote: 7–0.
- Item 8C1: Council adopted a PAD overlay and related ordinance for 250 West Rio (a proposed 16‑story, 110‑unit residential project). Vote: 7–0.
- Item 8C2: Council adopted amendments to the city’s sewer code (Ch. 27) including pretreatment and general provisions. Vote: 7–0.
- Item 8C3: Council adopted an ordinance authorizing partial abandonment of three waterline easements and one sewer/water easement (south of Broadway west of Price). Vote: 7–0.
- Resolution to approve the purchase of real property at 950 East Baseline Road: approved 7–0.

Several other land‑use items (8B1 Marlott’s Garage and 8B2 Priest & Alameda) were introduced and scheduled for final hearings on 2026‑02‑05; no final votes on those items were taken tonight.

Votes were recorded by voice for some items; where the roll call was displayed in the meeting it read as unanimous. No recusals were recorded.
