Commissioners approve consent agenda covering grants, contracts and capital awards

County Administrator Jeff Alito summarized the consent agenda items before the board and recommended approval. The package included an amended grant agreement with the city of Blue Ash for Cooper Creek Event Center, December bid awards and contracts of $634,617, purchase orders totaling $7,511,000, an asphalt purchase invitation to three vendors (approximately $375,000), a $5,750,000 contract for passenger-elevator modernization at Paycor Stadium, furniture removal at Alms and Depke for $237,950, credit-card authority for human resources of $36,000, collective bargaining assistance with Clemens Nelson for $438,000, and multiple nonprofit awards from the Community Development Block Grant program (Legal Aid $87,500; Immigrant and Refugee Law Center $87,500; Pro Seniors $45,500; Habitat for Humanity $27,500; Icron Corporation $28,000; Last Mile Food Rescue $52,500).

President Stephanie Summer O'Dumas moved to approve the listed consent items (items 1–10 and 12–17) and commissioners voted in favor. Commissioner Driehaus asked a follow-up question on a held item (11) and staff said it will return once a contract-number issue is resolved.

Why it matters: The consent agenda moves several operational and capital matters forward, including multimillion-dollar purchase orders and a major elevator contract at Paycor Stadium. The board flagged one item for further review before returning it for approval.
