Clerk reads extensive governor nominations to state boards and university trustees

The clerk read a message from the governor on Jan. 22, 2026, delivering a long list of appointments and reappointments to state boards, commissions and university trustee positions.

Nominations read into the record included, among others, Maria Garcia Barry of Denver to the passenger rail district board for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2029; reappointments and appointments to the boards of trustees at the University of Northern Colorado, Fort Lewis College, and multiple appointments to the Board of Governors of the Colorado State University System.
