Court schedules ladder-truck surplus and Brandcenter/consultant contract for next meeting

The court scheduled two procurement items for its next Friday meeting: whether to surplus an older ladder truck and how to proceed with a contract for the park-design consultant.

Court members discussed options for the ladder truck, including offering the vehicle to Versailles (another government agency), selling through a municipal-equipment broker, or placing the truck on the open market with a minimum bid. An estimate of comparable vehicles in the $100,000-
15,000 range was mentioned by staff as a reference point; no final decision was made and the surplus/bid action was placed on the upcoming agenda.

Separately, the court confirmed the contract with the consultant team that presented the Great Crossing Park conceptual designs will be on the Friday agenda for review. The judge said he would meet with the consultant to discuss contract terms prior to that meeting.

Both items were advanced as agenda items for the next meeting; no procurement awards or surplus sales were executed at this session.
