MPO technical advisory committee re-elects chair, confirms vice chair and approves minutes

The Mesilla Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization Technical Advisory Committee re‑elected its current chair and confirmed Harold Love as vice chair at its Feb. 5 meeting, and approved its Dec. 4 minutes.

The committee opened nominations for chair, accepted a self‑nomination, and confirmed the nominee by voice vote after a second from Ben Serrano. Trustee Harold Love volunteered for vice chair and was seconded by Richard Henley; members voted in favor. Eddie Salazar moved to approve the Dec. 4 minutes; the motion was seconded and approved.

The officers will carry forward routine business and represent the TAC in the MPO’s governance process. No public comments were made during the meeting’s public comment period.

The committee proceeded to action and discussion items after the elections and approvals; the meeting adjourned following staff updates.
