TAC elects chair and vice-chair; members discuss meeting schedule

At the start of the Feb. 5 Technical Advisory Committee meeting, members approved the December minutes (motion moved by Ernest, seconded by Mike Horner) and voted to elect Steve Bickinger as chair and Jody as vice chair. Votes were recorded as 'Aye' with no recorded opposition.

Members spent substantial time reviewing recurring scheduling conflicts: the proposed TAC meeting date conflicts with DuPage technical meetings and some staff rotate through multiple Thursday staff meetings. Committee members discussed alternatives including first/second/third Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays and possible start times between 08:00 and 10:00. The group agreed to keep the March meeting on March 5, while staff will explore making regular TAC meetings the second Wednesday at 08:30 (target March 11) and will circulate alternative schedules for formal approval.
