The Tooele City Council on Feb. 4 approved several consent and fee items in unanimous votes.
Police Chief Adrian Day presented an amended fee schedule that adds a $1,000 annual fee for outside police agencies and police academies using the Tooele Police Department firearm range to cover maintenance, targets, weed suppression and equipment. The council approved Resolution 2026‑03 on a 4–0 vote.
Economic development director John Perez presented a request from Holiday Oil for 2.27 acre‑feet of water for a Frank Street site and summarized the company’s projected capital investment and job creation. Perez cited a fee‑in‑lieu calculation totaling $79,450 for the requested 2.27 acre‑feet; the council authorized payment of the fee under Resolution 2026‑05 (4–0).
City recorder Shilo Baker presented one invoice in the packet: the city’s annual RingCentral subscription for $34,397.98. The council approved payment 4–0. The council also approved the January minutes by a 4–0 vote and adjourned at 7:36 p.m.
All three resolutions and the invoice motion carried without recorded dissent. Several items referenced estimates (projected sales tax, capital investment and job counts) supplied by staff; the council did not attach additional conditions to these approvals during the meeting.
