Orange Unified School District recognized two employees as its March employees-of-the-month, honoring Scott Clark and Cassandra Bravo for exemplifying the district’s six core values.
Michelle, speaking during the district meeting, said two awards are given each month during the school year to employees who exemplify one or more of the six core values and named Scott Clark, a teacher at Fort Collins Middle School, and Cassandra Bravo, an instructional assistant at Eskenau, as this month’s honorees. Michelle said the district will display recognition materials for the honorees outside the boardroom and invited family members to participate in the recognition.
Michelle praised both honorees for their work with students and families and said the district’s communications team will coordinate messaging and outreach for the recognitions. The speaker noted a short alumni video and community-outreach efforts tied to the celebration and thanked Christopher Hernandez for assistance with reporting.
“We say ‘once a panther, always a panther,’” Michelle said, calling attention to the district community connection and the value of publicly recognizing staff contributions.
District staff said feedback from honorees and their supervisors will be used to prepare display materials. No formal board action or vote was recorded in these segments; the recognition was described as an informational and celebratory agenda item.
