Board approves consent items: AT&T phone migration, membership renewals and new senior facilities director

The board approved a package of consent and administrative items that included IT, membership and personnel actions.

Staff explained a planned migration of district phone numbers to a Teams‑based cloud phone system and the board ratified a contract with AT&T for that migration; staff noted a separate Wi‑Fi cost. The board also approved renewal of membership in the school housing coalition for Feb. 1, 2026–Jan. 31, 2027, after questions about discounted conference fees and travel costs.

On personnel, the board welcomed Marc Aranda as the senior director of facilities, planning, maintenance and operations; Aranda said he was "blessed by the opportunity" to join the district. The board approved several consent items and administrative resolutions by recorded vote (multiple items recorded 5‑0).
