The Giles County Regional Planning Commission approved the minutes from its last meeting after a motion by Harry Jones and a second from John Hayslip; the chair called for "Aye" and the motion carried.
The chair reported that the Ridgeview subdivision had its outstanding signature submitted and that secretary Kristen had signed the final documents, making Ridgeview formally approved following its prior preliminary approval.
No formal enforcement action or vote was taken on complaints about the marketed subdivision discussed during public comment. Commissioners agreed to accept a forthcoming legal notice from an attorney representing residents and to consider convening the county attorney and the developer’s counsel in a working-group meeting to explore next steps.
Commissioners also agreed to place proposed subdivision-standard updates and a developer fee schedule on the next meeting agenda for review.
