Denton County accepts small land donation, approves interlocal agreements and increases Lakeside Parkway contribution

Denton County Commissioners Court on Feb. 3 accepted a conveyance deed from Taber 380 Development LLC transferring approximately 0.805 acres of land to the county and approved interlocal cooperation agreements with the town of Flower Mound that commit county funds to local road projects.

The court approved acceptance of the donation deed by motion (agenda item 14(a)), and then approved an interlocal cooperation agreement that would have Denton County contribute $3.5 million for the FM 2499/FM 3040 project, funded from specified county line items. The court also approved amendment No. 1 to an interlocal agreement for the Lakeside Parkway project increasing Denton County's contribution from $4,270,000 to a higher cap recorded in the transcript (text records increases to $9,488,000 and other line-item transfers; at one point the transcript lists $100,000,743,000 which appears garbled).

All motions were moved and seconded on the record and carried unanimously.
