The Town of Sellersburg on Feb. 2 approved a $282,000 professional services agreement for raw water main design and several annual task orders with Prime AE.
Mike of Prime AE presented four task orders for 2026 (water, wastewater, streets/stormwater, CCMG) totaling $90,000 in ceilings across the categories and described them as on‑call, time‑and‑materials task orders the town can use when needed. The council approved the task orders by voice vote.
Staff then presented the raw water main design professional services agreement, with a total fee of $282,000 (broken down by tasks in the packet). The consultant said the design work would take roughly 180 days to complete. The agreement was described as matching elements in the agency PER submitted to the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA) and would be bid with the Sunflower Valley project to capture efficiency and potential IFA funding.
Council voted to approve the $282,000 design contract by voice vote and authorized the town manager or designated staff to finalize minor edits to the master services agreement before execution.
The motion and approval were recorded in the meeting minutes; town staff said they will continue to coordinate with IFA about potential loan forgiveness or grant opportunities and will report back to the council on schedule and scope milestones.
