Education committee approves Canon and Apple leases for county schools

The Sumner County Education Committee approved two equipment leases on Feb. 2.

Agenda item 10b — a Canon copier lease for Venus Stewart Elementary — was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. Committee members indicated their support with the customary call for 'aye' responses and the chair announced the motion carried.

Agenda item 10c — described in the packet as an Apple lease — also was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote; the chair announced the motion carried. No roll-call tallies or names of movers and seconders are recorded in the transcript.
