Commission approves consent agenda and Board of Equalization register

The commission approved consent items 16 through 20 on a single motion. Items included agreements for a Rocky Mountain football tournament, sponsorship of the 2026 Great Salt Lake Bird Festival through the Utah Wetlands Foundation, two Carter Center agreements for dementia programming in the Department of Employees, and an internship agreement with Western Governors University for health-department student placements.

Following consent approvals, the commission recessed to the Board of Equalization. Scott Park presented the register, which included four tax exemption requests, 41 appeals and nine auditor corrections on the auditor side as well as 17 assessor-initiated value corrections; the commission approved the register and reconvened the commission before closing remarks.
