Idaho Falls council votes to enter executive session citing Idaho Code for legal and personnel matters

At the end of the Dec. 8 work session the Idaho Falls City Council voted to move into executive session. A council member (Speaker 9) moved "to move into executive session called pursuant to Idaho code section 74-206(1)(f) to communicate with legal counsel . . ." and also cited Idaho Code §74-206(1)(b) to consider evaluation, dismissal or discipline of a public employee. The motion was seconded and a roll call vote was recorded; the presiding officer stated the motion carried.

Council announced the meeting would not reconvene after the executive session. No further details on the subject matter of the executive session were disclosed in open session.
