Schererville Commission approves minutes, cancels Feb. 16 study session and adopts findings of fact

The Schererville Town commission voted unanimously on several procedural items during its Feb. 2 meeting. Commissioners approved the minutes from the Jan. 5, 2026 meeting, voted to cancel the scheduled Feb. 16 study session because it falls on a holiday, and accepted findings of fact for Case 251223 (Anna Street, second edition).

The minutes were approved following a motion by "Mr. Rank" and a second; the vote was recorded as unanimous ("Gary 7 0"). The commission then moved and seconded to cancel the Feb. 16 study session; the chair called the question and the motion carried 7–0. For Case 251223 the commission voted to adopt the findings of fact after a motion by Mr. Rack and a second by Mr. Long; a voice vote was recorded in favor.

These items were procedural and required no additional review; the meeting subsequently adjourned and reconvened for a study session later in the evening.
