The Lake Havasu Metropolitan Planning Organization Executive Board on a unanimous vote adopted an updated Title VI non‑discrimination plan and the FY2025 annual Title VI report.
Miss Lajewski, the MPO staff presenter, said Title VI "prohibits the discrimination based on race, color, and national origin" and explained that ADOT, FTA and FHWA require recipients of federal transportation funding to maintain a Title VI nondiscrimination plan and an annual report. She told the board the MPO received no Title VI complaints in FY25 and that updates requested by ADOT’s External Civil Rights Office are reflected in the plan.
The board moved and approved the plan and report without further discussion. The chair confirmed the plan requires the MPO chair’s formal approval as part of the administrative record.
Next steps: staff will finalize the plan with the approved updates and transmit documentation as required to ADOT and federal partners.
