Council to invite Ralph Maxfield to join Planning and Zoning commission

Unidentified Speaker 2 told the council that Ralph Maxfield is interested in serving on the Planning and Zoning Commission and has attended one or two meetings. Council members asked whether Maxfield was a developer. Speaker 2 said Maxfield works for Clyde Construction and builds highways and freeways.

The council agreed to reach out to Maxfield and invite him to continue attending meetings and serve on the commission. Speaker 2 said the commission presently has four active members and a backup list; names mentioned included Rex Williams, Sean Kelly, Dan Taylor, James Wilcox, Scott, Ralph, and Sarah Lombarkler (who attends only occasionally).

No formal appointment vote was recorded during the meeting; staff and the sponsoring council member will follow up to facilitate Maxfield’s participation.
