Morgan Township BZA elects officers and approves corrected minutes

The Morgan Township Board of Zoning Appeals conducted officer elections and approved prior meeting minutes during routine procedural business.

An unidentified member nominated Jeff Griffith for chair and the nomination was seconded; the board took a voice vote with recorded ayes and a voiced objection. Chris Gaines was nominated by Speaker 3 for vice chair and that nomination was seconded and approved by voice vote.

When the board moved to approve the October 16 joint meeting minutes, Speaker 6 objected to an incorrect notation crediting Mr. Gaines with a motion to adjourn and asked that the record be amended. Speaker 6 then moved to approve the minutes as written except for correcting that last-page line; Steve Groody seconded and the motion passed by voice vote.

Near the end of the meeting Steve Groody moved to adjourn and Jeff Grover seconded; the motion carried and the meeting was adjourned.
