Notices included: a craft fair at the Waccamaw Library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; early voting on Nov. 1–2 at four county locations from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Election Day on Nov. 5 with polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; a Nov. 4 public hearing at 5 p.m. at the Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments office in Georgetown concerning the county’s hazard‑mitigation plan; the Georgetown County Library grand reopening on Nov. 7 at 10 a.m.; Veterans Day county office closures; the county council meeting on Nov. 12 at 5:30 p.m. in the historic courthouse on Screven Street; a ribbon cutting for three new kids trails on Nov. 13 at Rocky Point Community Forest at 11 a.m.; and the Planning Commission meeting on Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m.
