Jefferson County health commission approves minutes, elects vice chair and secretary

The Jefferson County Health and Human Relations Commission approved minutes from its Oct. 27 meeting and elected officers during its Jan. 29 meeting.

Speaker 1 opened the meeting, presented the minutes and asked for a motion to approve; a voice vote followed and Speaker 2 said “Aye,” after which Speaker 1 announced the minutes were approved. Later, Speaker 1 moved that Amanda be vice chair; Speaker 3 seconded and the motion was approved by voice vote.
