FEMA hazard-mitigation cooperative agreements: Council introduced ordinances authorizing the parish president to execute cooperative endeavor agreements under the FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program with named property owners for specific parcels, including a continuation-right-of-use agreement with Michael Fitzgerald for 701 Central Avenue in Houma, agreements with Pauline and Claude Luke Jr. for 110 Indigo Street in Dulac, and with Vijaya and James Beach for 214 Bayou Gardens Drive in Houma. Each was moved, seconded and recorded as approved (clerk announced nine yays in each instance).
