Fall Creek board appoints Lucas Smith as board secretary and approves prior meeting minutes

During a routine portion of its meeting, the Fall Creek Board of Zoning Appeals approved two administrative items: appointment of Lucas Smith as a board secretary and approval of prior meeting minutes.

A board member introduced Lucas Smith as "one of our newer folks in the planning department" and asked the board to approve him as one of the board secretaries authorized to sign documents. The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.

The board also moved to approve two sets of minutes (referred to in the transcript as 11/2025 and 4/2025) including edits; a motion was made, seconded and approved unanimously by voice vote.

There were no dissenting comments recorded on either administrative item and staff said it would circulate documents after the meeting.
